Unitrans Cast Resin Transformers (CRT) are particularly suitable for moisture-prone and harsh environments. The primary and secondary windings are fully encapsulated in epoxy resin, providing superior insulation and preventing moisture or dust from affecting performance. This non-hygroscopic design allows uninterrupted operation even in highly humid or contaminated areas. Optional metal enclosures up to IP55 (NEMA 3R/4X) further safeguard the transformer from dust, rain, and environmental stress.
